Giving Back - Changing Children’s Lives Through Play
The Health Dispensary is passionate about supporting people from all walks of life to live better. As such we are proud to be a supporter of Be Centre and their work in changing children's lives through play. While it's relatively new in Australia, Play Therapy is increasingly being recognised as one of the most effective forms of therapy for children aged 3-12. As one of the largest specialist Play Therapy centres in the world, Be Centre is proud to be leading the way in making Play Therapy accessible to kids in Australia – transforming countless lives along the way.
Our team attended the annual Be Centre Charity Gala "Be The Light" event on Friday the 30th of May 2025 and over $130,000 was raised for Vulnerable Children. Their "Hear Me Play" scholarship program is still critically underfunded. They have a growing waitlist of children in desperate need for support, and they simply cannot intake more without urgent funding. If you or your organisation is passionate about making a real social impact across: mental health, domestic violence, ADHD, autism, trauma recovery - they'd love to hear from you.
